Application of content based image retrieval in digital image search system

Multimedia data is growing rapidly in the current digital era, one of which image data. The increasing need for a large number datasets makes constraints faced eventually drain lot time and cause process description to be inconsistent. Therefore, method needed processing data, especially searching dataset find that are relevant query image. One proposed methods information based on content retrieval (CBIR). main advantage CBIR automatic process, compared traditional keyword. This research was conducted combination HSV color histogram discrete wavelet transform extract features textures features, while chi-square distance technique used compare test images with into database. results have showed search system texture precision value 37.5% - 100%, an average 80.71%, percentage accuracy 93.7% 100% 98.03%.
